I am so excited! While on vacation, I purchased some glass jars from IKEA to store my dry food in. Last night, as I was highly motivated, I stayed up til the wee hours of the morning organizing. I love it!
Here are a few pictures of the dry goods in the 19 61oz. jars (the 20th jars was dropped by some little helping hands) I purchased and some baby food jars I’ve saved over the years.
As you can see, I still have organizing to do as well as labeling my jars, but this was a fun start.

We would be in trouble. As I was showering and shampooing my hair, I began thinking about how much coconut oil is used in my and my family’s life. For infants, Vitamin D is often suspended in coconut oil because allergies are rare. We all take a few drops of Vitamin D, if we did not get out in the sun enough on the day. My mother has been drinking coconut milk. For a snack, I bring coconut bars to work. I guess coconut is not all that invasive my family’s lives, but I suppose compared to the average, we might be above.

So, I have learned a few things with the first ear infection, that I remember getting.
1. SuperBugs are not joke, transmitted by Docs, kill more than AIDS, and were launched through misuse of antibiotics particularly for ear infections.
2. Vinegar is not only good to drink, but cleans the ear. Applied with 50% rubbing alcohol
3. Garlic is not only good in food, but in the ear. Applied with olive oil, calendula, st. johns wort and mullein flowers.
3. To heat oil, place in a spoon over a boiling kettle.
4. Xylitol which is the filler in Stevita Supreme, my sweetener, since I gave up Agave Nectar, fights the specific bacteria which causes middle ear infection. Note: Since the hospital I started using Agave again to used up what we had of it, after doing a food inventory. A few days into my infection I switched back to the Stevita.
5. Alcohol somehow inflames the inner ear. I have found conclusive documentation on this one, but other testimonies. I took on sip of an Eel River Organic Acai Berry Wheat Ale tonight and was in excruciating pain.
It is getting better. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were the worse, but since I began the alcohol/vinegar treatment and night and Mullein Garlic three times a day, it has cleared up. Meaning I can hear, my ear is not sensitive to the touch and it is not painful to eat/chew.
